About the Project

The Australian Plant Phenomics Network is Australia’s network of National Research Infrastructures for plant and agricultural science, funded through the National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy. It gives open access to state-of-the-art plant phenotyping infrastructure, with the stated aim of helping academic researchers and industry address the critical challenges in agriculture by developing nutritious crops that are resilient to the conditions of a changing climate.

It is hosted across nine Australian research organisations, from its head office in Adelaide: the University of Adelaide, the Australian National University, Charles Sturt University, the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development in Western Australia, La Trobe University, the University of Queensland, the University of Sydney, the University of Western Australia and Western Sydney University.
