Science Is a Team Sport
Hiphen was born from academic research, and science has remained at the heart of what we do ever since. Since 2014, we have built long-standing collaborations with leading research organizations such as legacy partners INRAE and ARVALIS in France, alongside universities and research centers around the world. From the whole CGIAR ecosystem to individual institutions across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and Australia, these collaborations have allowed us to develop, challenge and validate our methods under real research conditions, across different crops, environments and scientific questions.
And these roots continue to grow. Today, Hiphen is actively involved in collaborative research projects with many supported by European research and innovation programs, spanning a wide range of agricultural and plant science applications. By bringing digital phenotyping expertise, technologies and data into these projects, we aim not only to improve our own solutions, but also to help researchers explore new questions, generate better evidence and accelerate scientific innovation. For us, advancing digital phenotyping and supporting scientific research are part of the same mission: giving plant science better ways to observe, measure and understand crops.
